feynman has been my hero for ages...i read most of his very interesting and funny books and i consider Caltech a shrine to this great mind. he never lost his humanity amid all the "equations" - he will continue caressing miryads of souls years after his death...

A lovely poem, attempting to capture the epiphany. I'm not sure about the first thought though. It seems to me that as we come to know more and more, the possible scope of our imaginings, if anything, has decreased. There was great diversity and breadth in "the imaginings of poets and dreamers of the past." Socially and culturally the last few decades have seen a kind of seeping hegemony. It's probably one of those things though that can only be a kind of speculation, we have only the historical record to go on and as you go back in time it becomes increasingly incomplete. But a beautiful poem and very thought provoking post.
