I do not want a rainbow neither would I ask favors from God both are somewhere in the sky and frankly, I am tired of looking up: – I am not sure what, or who is there, it is better to look down so that I can walk straight and do not trip, over the mythical rocks of fabled happiness.–

I wish to reproduce poem by Ruskin Bond which captures the essence..

Silent Birth.

When the earth gave birth to this tree,
There came no sound:
A green shoot thrust
In silence from ground.
Our births don’t come so quiet-
Most lives run riot-
But the but opens silently,
And flowers gives way to fruits.
so must we search
for the stillness within tree,
The silence within the root.
.

Essentially I wish to use this blog to compile & as a forum to narrate, express, “Reproduce” & share what I’ve learned & what inspires me. Accordingly I have named it as ‘My Banyan Tree’. As such, the contents are not necessary my own writing. The objective is to create a short-lived personal “Idea Universe” and share it with friends, who are likely to care and connect to these thoughts.

However, world suffering with ‘ Attention Deficit Syndrome’, not sure if this holds any meaning,

‘ Entropy ‘… second law of thermodynamics, –” disorder ” is always increasing….

I am deeply intrigued by concept of Entropy is the only quantity in the physical sciences that “picks” a particular direction for time, sometimes called an arrow of time. As we go “forward” in time, the Second Law of Thermodynamics tells us that the entropy of an isolated system can only increase or remain the same; it cannot decrease. Hence, from one perspective, entropy measurement is thought of as a kind of clock.

    ENTROPIC HOPE
    — James Ph. Kotsybar

    Dr. Smart, with sweeping dioramics,
    summarized theory accepted today:
“The first few laws of thermodynamics:
You can’t win, break even or get away.

    “No matter speed of acceleration,
the universe runs down since the Big Bang.
The fate of order is dissipation.
The spring, once sprung, can’t be re-sprung. It sprang.

“A system needs energy to survive
or it’s unable to do work, of course.
On galactic scales or like us, alive,
complexity is the result of force.

“And though the second law says we can’t win,
it’s only ‘law’ to a statistician.”

Hi — I’m trying to find the author for the quote you have above, “What you focus on grows, what you think about expands and what you dwell on determines your destiny.” Do you know who originated it?

    Dear Amy,
I typed in the entire quote as a web search and it came up with only your question and this:

Perhaps the manager of this website can help you.

    BREAKING SYMMETRY
    — James Ph. Kotsybar

Our universe has things in it because
    chance quantum fluctuations enable.
Nothing is what violates Nature’s laws —
    something is apparently more stable.
    Super-symmetry was asking for it.
It was just too perfect to be withstood,
and once it took the predictable hit
it lit up the entire neighborhood,
and in that Big Bang, the forces all split.
Gravity, of course, was most serious
and left, having little to do with it,
and, to this day, remains mysterious.
Though we still work to unify them all,
Entropy says it’s too late for that call.
